Brandon and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on May 2nd. When I say celebrated I mean we studied for finals, kept on writing that 7000 word paper, worked and played with our little bundle.
I feel like it's such an accomplishment. I was 19 when I married him, seriously, how did my teenager self make such a perfect decision? We are seriously besties and are so lucky we found each other.
I love how this picture looks ancient! (Ya know kids, digital cameras weren't around back then.)
7 cars, 6 moves, 4 years at UNLV, 2 years at MSU Law, and 1 little bug- what a ride it's been!
I know I complain just a little about work, work, work and no play... but there is definitely some playing going on. We went and saw Carrie Underwood at the Breslin Center for my "giving birth" present (yes, I made up a new gift giving occasion) and it was amazing...
Great seats!
And as soon as the snow melted there have been plenty of neighborhood barbecues. One night we decided to try to grab a group picture. Brandon set the timer on the camera we grabbed all the kids and took one shot...ironic that it's the best picture we've ever taken of all of us and that all the kids are actually looking at the camera! I included it in a little scrapbook I put together for our friends that graduated...
Miss them so much!
And just for fun- a cute new picture of Benson (ignore the camera phone quality)...

Making up gift-giving occasions is totally appropriate! I had a giving birth present, too. And a due date present. And a week over due present! It's definitely an accomplishment that should be rewarded. :)
What a cute pic of the little guy- he is a doll!
Holy crap Benson is the cutest! Look at his little smirk! Love him. Those other pictures are so fun too. Great group shot and holy cow- blonde you! So fun!
That is one cute baby you have there!!!!! And I just have to tell you that i'm right on board with that whole gift getting thing. I've have a maid come clean for me for a few months (right before I have the baby until I feel back on my 2 feet) with my last 3 babies and it's called my "Good job you just popped out another baby" present :) Good for you I would LOVE to see Carrie Underwood! :)
Carrie?!?! I am so jealous! I like your new gift giving tradition.
